After-School Enrichment Program
The mission of the After-School Enrichment Program (ASEP) is to provide a safe environment that supports the social, academic, emotional and physical growth of young people in Rappahannock County.

College & Career Access Program
CCAP’s mission is to work collaboratively with RCPS and other local schools to support young people as they develop a realistic plan for life after graduation.

Grants
Since 1997, Headwaters has awarded over $125,000 in grants for items such as lab equipment, GPS units, classroom library books, field trips, STEAM initiatives, musical instruments, art supplies, CPR training and more.

READ, which began in 2012, is a cooperative effort between Headwaters and Rappahannock County Elementary School, and provides on-site tutoring to Rappahannock’s youngest readers.

Scholarships
Headwaters administers several scholarship and award funds. The deadline for scholarships and renewal scholarships is early spring. All Headwaters-administered scholarships can be applied to through the RCHS Common Application.

Starfish Mentoring Program
The Starfish Mentoring Program inspires and empowers young people in Rappahannock County to meaningfully connect with their community through regular engagement with trained mentors who provide guidance, support, information and encouragement.

Summer Chorus
The Summer Chorus Program at Headwaters serves youth in 4th through 12th grades by engaging young singers with an ensemble experience that makes them feel successful both as an individual and as part of a collective group.
