Advising:
Miranda
Hope (540-987-8335), directs the Next Step Program. She holds
a BA from Stanford University and an MFA from Columbia University
with semesters at Harvard and Oxford Universities. Since 2000,
she has taught high school English, Drama, and Chorus and directed
and acted in many plays. She co-founded a theatre company ("The
Stage"), started a classical acting school for teens ("The
Young Actors Institute"), and is a published poet and playwright.
She also worked as a grief counselor at "The Center for Grieving
Children," in Portland, Maine. She loves to meet with students
and families, to help them find the school, program, and plan
that is right for them.
