THE MISSION OF THE RCPS FARM-TO-TABLE PROGRAM is to cultivate students who are good stewards of the earth and productive community members through classroom study of horticulture, cultivation of school gardens, and hands-on experiences at local family farms.

Established in 2004, the Farm-to-Table Program is a partnership between Rappahannock County Public Schools and Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation.

The program is made possible by the generous support of The Rappahannock County Farm Bureau, The Young Farmland Fund, The Lapham Family and Sunnyside Farm, and a team of volunteer community grower-partners with backgrounds in education.

Donors wishing to contribute to the program should email Headwaters Executive Director Cole Johnson or call at
540-987-3322.

To make donations of materials or supplies, please see our wish list or email Project Coordinator Trista Scheuerlein.
